Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon: Shoulder - Elbow - Wrist - Hand

I understand that problems affecting your shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand can all have a significant impact on your day to day life both at home and work. Problems may include: pain, stiffness, weakness, swelling, pins and needles, or numbness. They may prevent you from doing everyday tasks or any special activities which you enjoy.

It is important to be able to get the most out of life and not have to focus on restrictions. As such my goal is to help you by providing you with an accurate diagnosis, together with an explanation for your symptoms. When required I will arrange the necessary investigations (including specialist scans), and in partnership with you will devise a management plan to get you back on track. I will provide guidance during your journey from referral through to rehabilitation and will be happy to answer any questions you may have, however straight forward or challenging. I believe it is important to work together with the wider healthcare team to provide a successful outcome.
